Pandora Hearts Synopsis:
Oz Vessalius, the heir to a duke house, has just turned 15. He lives a rich and carefree life; the only thing that makes him sad is the frequent absence of his father. During the coming-of-age ceremony, for unknown reasons, Oz is banished to a prison known as "Abyss," then saved by a "chain" named Alice (Bloodstained Black Rabbit, B-Rabbit). Mystery begins to emerge behind Alice, the "Abyss," and a secret organization called Pandora. This series contains numerous references to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, which is filled with elements of fantasy and mystery and is a prime example of Gothic fiction.
